Brick and Scale, a modern apothecary, introduces our Balance Facial Serum - Evening Primrose + Pomegranate Seed Oil.  Created to balance your skin’s natural properties, while aiding in hydration, preservation, and delicate restoration.  You will absolutely adore the refreshingly sweet, earthy, lemony and delicately sweet notes upon application!

This rich blend of oils is combined to create a serum to be used day and night, with individual properties that have been proven to restore hydration and aid in the retention of moisture.  This is a combination of organic jojoba oil, organic primrose oil, organic pomegranate seed oil, organic carrot seed oil, organic vitamin e oil, therapeutic grade lavender essential oil, and organic frankincense essential oil. The benefit from the Pomegranate Seed oil is the HIGH OMEGA 5 FATTY ACID levels, with its strong anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties! 

Recommended for skin in need of a reset to refresh, rejuvenate, and contribute to the prevention of aging and damage. 

Directions: Shake well.  Massage 4-7 drops onto freshly washed face every evening and follow with Hydrate Facial Serum.  This serum is made with pure ingredients in small batches. Differences in color and fragrance may occur between batches. Contains essential oils.  Avoid contamination, only apply to clean and dry skin.  Do not touch dropper to skin or water.  This product does not include a preservative and runs the risk of contamination.  Refrigerate if possible.

Ingredients: organic jojoba oil, organic primrose oil, organic pomegranate seed oil, organic carrot seed oil, organic vitamin e oil, therapeutic grade lavender essential oil, (from France), and organic frankincense essential oil.  

• Organic Jojoba Oil - Studies show that jojoba oil reduces redness, inflammation, and itching.  It can be anti-aging, and anti-wrinkle, topically enhancing the epidermal barrier to help prevent wrinkles and fine lines (1).
• Organic Primrose Oil - a valuable oil often used in the treatment of skin conditions, such as eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis.  Studies show that evening primrose can help with age-related structural and functional changes in skin tissues (2).  This oil is high in gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), one of the world’s best moisturizers and is considered a skin-soothing agent (3).
• Organic Pomegranate Seed Oil -  This oil is rich in antioxidants, which can protect skin from UV and free-radical damage, supporting cell regeneration. Pomegranate oil can aid in repairing skin and reducing wrinkles in the epidermis. It has superior moisturizing, nourishing and skin softening abilities (4).
• Organic Carrot Seed Oil - Chocked full of super antioxidants, this will aid in protecting your skin from UV and elemental damage (5). It improves skin tone and helps eliminate water and toxin-build up; also stimulating cell renewal and improving complexion. Excellent for dry, tired, dull, and traumatized skin working to increase elasticity and firmness.
• Organic Vitamin E oil - Vitamin E is used in skincare products to aid in skin hydration.  Some evidence leads to vitamin E helping with cellular regeneration, which can help in the healing process for scars and acne.  Research states that Vitamin E appears to enhance the penetration and re-absorption of skin lipids. The natural aging process and environmental influences can cause this protective barrier to break down, allowing the skin to lose moisture and become dry. Vitamin E plays an important role protecting that barrier.  Vitamin E can also help protect the skin from signs of aging due to free radicals, which cause wrinkles, lines, and age spots (6).

• Organic Frankincense Essential Oil - Frankincense is a valuable oil that has been used for centuries.
